Avoiding Periodontal Surgery

Periodontal disease is one of the destructive conditions that may be experience by an individual. It can be begin with simple gingivitis where gum becomes red, puffy, tender, swollen and easily bleeds especially during brushing. Gingivitis is the mildest and earliest from of gum disease, however when left unchecked and allowed to progress it can cause a lot of trouble and lead to advance periodontal disease that may need a periodontal surgery in the long run.
Proper oral health care is is the key in preventing gum or periodontal surgery and avoiding the expense of having a periodontal surgery in the future. It only takes about five minutes of regular brushing, flossing and rinsing the mouth with salt and warm water to avoid gum infection and tooth loss.
